An East Coast native, Jessica comes to Davis & Associates with a strong background in communications, public affairs, media relations, and community outreach. Prior to relocating to San Francisco and the Bay Area, Jessica developed content and executed customized communications campaigns for the nonprofit student loan guarantor, American Student Assistance, in Boston. Originally from New York City and the Hudson Valley, Jessica has served as a Publicist/Account Executive for the boutique PR agency, Padilla Spear Beardsley, where she was responsible for media relations for clients including Credit.com, GfK America, Certpoint Systems, Lloyds TSB, and the Peter C. Alderman Foundation, among others. Previously, Jessica managed and coordinated corporate communications for the nation’s largest international engineering design services firm, URS Corporation, in Manhattan.
Jessica holds a graduate degree in Media Studies and Management from The New School in NYC as well as an undergraduate degree in Communications/Public Relations with a minor in Journalism from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia. At Davis & Associates, Jessica is the Communications Outreach Specialist for clients including the SF Public Utilities Commission, the SF Recreation & Park Department, URS Corporation, Zone 7 Water, and SF Students Back on Track. A Mezzo Soprano and devout foodie interested in travel, new media, environmental and sustainability issues and fashion, Jessica can be seen on BASEnet Internet Television as a field correspondent and producer to this national independent production company that develops web-based video news and programming. Jessica is also an advocate for using public transportation and is proud to say she has been car-free for the past five years.
