A native of Southern California, Emily moved to San Francisco in 2005 to attend the University of San Francisco where she completed a bachelor's degree in Politics and a double minor in Legal Studies and Latin American Studies. Prior to joining Davis & Associates, Emily acquired experience in real estate and finance working under an expert witness at a consulting firm in Los Angeles. There she also provided pro-bono legal service as a legal associate in at-risk communities to people who had fallen victim to predatory lending and lost their homes. Emily also worked at The Forgotten International, a nonprofit that develops programs to alleviate poverty and the suffering associated with poverty, both in the United States and worldwide, experienced by women and children in particular. During her time at The Forgotten International, she assisted in coordinating a fundraising breakfast with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Today Emily serves a Communications Outreach Specialist with Davis & Associates. Her primary responsibilities involve managing public outreach and communications for a variety of infrastructure and right-of-way projects for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and cultivating relationships with key community stakeholders. Emily directly engages with community members affected by the SFPUC’s water supply infrastructure projects to ensure those affected are informed and aware of construction impacts.
In her spare time, Emily coaches the University of San Francisco Spirit Squad (www.usfspiritsquad.com) and spends weekends working as an event assistant for Dream a Little Dream Events. Emily can also be found on LinkedIn.
