For nearly two decades, D&A Communications (a boutique marketing and public relations firm) has developed creative strategies that stimulate public interest in community issues, public policy, products, and services.
This position requires demonstrated experience in government affairs, public relations, marketing, branding, social media, community engagement, and public meeting facilitation. In addition, a strong foundation in research, data analysis, diverse project management, leading and managing consultants, campaign design, public speaking, and working with diverse communities are skill sets needed to be successful in this position. Demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely, and compellingly coupled with the qualities of creativity, adaptability, and complex problem solving skills are highly desirable. This position also requires a deep understanding of social media tools, experience directing graphic designers, knowledge of infographics, advertisement campaign development, analyzing audience perception data, and producing web videos and web content.
Seven years of experience in government relations or public agency communications with Bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications, Business or related field. Three of the seven years should be in project management role with at least two years of public relations agency experience. Advanced user level with Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
Master Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business or other job related field with management experience in a Public Relations organization.
